E-Channelling at Fort Railway Station
Sri Lanka's first listed technology company, E- Channelling Limited, has taken another giant step into the future of channelling by introducing its E-Channelling Kiosk at the Colombo Fort Railway Station, for the convenience of all train commuters. The company said that commuters using Sri Lanka's busiest railway station do not have to undergo the dilemma of queuing up at hospitals, wasting both time and money in securing an appointment with over 600 doctors at 11 leading private hospitals in the country. The Kiosk which is open from 7 am to 8 pm will be a great boon to the large number of commuters in channelling a doctor, in some of Sri Lanka's premier healthcare establishments including, Nawaloka, Asiri, Oasis, Durdans, Southern(Galle), Healthy Life, Ninewells, Apollo, Ceymed and Park Hospital, the company statement said. "The E-Channelling Kiosk removes much inconvenience caused to patients, who have to personally visit the hospital to make a booking. Channeling is made both less expensive and more convenient, not only for those living in the capital but also for many commuters arriving from outstation as well," it said.
